These pipes are renowned for their strength, hygienic properties, and ability to withstand chlorides, making them the material of choice for demanding industrial applications.

Available in seamless and welded forms with a wide range of sizes and schedules, our 316/316L pipes deliver long-term performance, reliability, and ease of fabrication.

What is 316 / 316L Stainless Steel Pipe?

316 Stainless Steel Pipe is an austenitic alloy composed of 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum, which significantly improves its corrosion resistance—especially to chlorides and acidic environments. 316L, the low-carbon version of 316, prevents carbide precipitation during welding, making it ideal for thick-gauge welded sections.

Both grades are non-magnetic in the annealed condition and maintain their integrity at high and low temperatures. These pipes are widely used in fluid transport, structural frameworks, and critical process systems.
