What is 347 Stainless Steel Strip?
347 Stainless Steel Strip is an austenitic stainless steel alloy containing chromium, nickel, and niobium (columbium). The addition of niobium stabilizes the alloy against chromium carbide precipitation, making it highly resistant to intergranular corrosion even after welding or long-term exposure to high temperatures.
It retains mechanical strength and oxidation resistance up to 900°C, making it ideal for high-temperature, welded, or pressure-bearing applications.
