410 Stainless Steel Square Bar

High-strength 410 stainless steel square bars are available from Stellanox Steel. These bars are designed for demanding applications that call for exceptional hardness, wear resistance, and moderate corrosion protection. 410 square bars of martensitic stainless steel are perfect for components that are subjected to abrasion, mechanical stress, and dry or mildly corrosive conditions.

410 square bars, which are frequently found in tooling components, valves, fasteners, and pump shafts, offer affordability, robustness, and machinability.

What is 410 Stainless Steel Square Bar?

The solid square bar known as 410 stainless steel is composed of a heat-treatable martensitic alloy that has between 11.5% and 13.5% chromium. In dry environments up to 650°C, this grade provides excellent resistance to oxidation and scaling together with strong mechanical strength. It is magnetic under all circumstances and can be toughened by tempering and quenching.

In applications where hardness and strength are more important than corrosion resistance, 410 square bars are especially helpful.
