430 Stainless Steel Sheet

Stellanox Steel offers top-quality 430 Stainless Steel Sheets, engineered to provide excellent corrosion resistance, good formability, and a cost-effective alternative to austenitic grades. As a ferritic stainless steel, 430 is magnetic, contains no nickel, and is commonly used in applications where aesthetics and moderate corrosion resistance are essential—such as kitchen appliances, exhaust systems, and architectural trim.

What is 430 Stainless Steel Sheet?

430 Stainless Steel Sheet is a ferritic, straight chromium alloy stainless steel with a chromium content of approximately 16–18%. It is known for its good corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and formability, especially in mildly corrosive environments. Unlike austenitic grades like 304 and 316, 430 is magnetic and does not contain nickel, which makes it a more economical option for applications that do not require high corrosion or chemical resistance.

This grade is widely used for its excellent finish, aesthetic appeal, and decent performance in environments such as indoor appliances, decorative trims, flanges, and automotive interiors.
