Super Duplex Stainless Steel Sheet

At Stellanox Steel, we supply high-quality Super Duplex Stainless Steel Sheets engineered to deliver ultra-high strength, outstanding corrosion resistance, and exceptional reliability for critical industrial applications.

Designed for use in extreme environments — such as offshore oil platforms, chemical plants, desalination units, and marine structures — our Super Duplex sheets provide maximum performance with cost efficiency and long service life.

What are Super Duplex Stainless Steel Sheet?

Super Duplex Stainless Steel Sheets are flat-rolled products produced from super duplex alloys such as UNS S32750 (2507) and S32760 (Zeron 100).
These sheets feature a two-phase (ferritic-austenitic) microstructure that gives them twice the strength of standard austenitic stainless steels (e.g., 304L/316L) along with superior corrosion resistance, especially in chloride-rich environments.

Super Duplex sheets are ideal where resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking are critical — all while offering high fatigue strength and excellent weldability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Explore our FAQs for insights on materials, customization, and delivery.
How does Super Duplex stainless steel sheet compare to 316L stainless steel sheet?
Super Duplex offers more than twice the strength and significantly superior corrosion resistance compared to 316L stainless steel, especially in chloride-rich environments.
Are Super Duplex sheets suitable for welding and fabrication?
Yes. They can be easily welded and fabricated, though proper heat input and filler materials should be selected to maintain microstructure balance.
What thicknesses are available for Super Duplex stainless sheets?
Our standard range is from 1.5 mm up to 50 mm thickness, with custom thicknesses available on request.
Can Super Duplex stainless steel sheets be used for architectural applications?
Yes. Due to their strength, corrosion resistance, and available surface finishes (polished, brushed, mirror), they are excellent for modern coastal and high-load architectural designs.
