Threaded Flanges

Stellanox Steel supplies high-quality Threaded Flanges (also known as Screwed Flanges) that are designed for low-pressure, non-welded piping systems. Ideal for applications where welding is impractical or hazardous, these flanges are widely used in flammable fluid systems, hydraulic lines, compressed air lines, and natural gas pipelines.

Our threaded flanges are available in Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, Monel, Inconel, Hastelloy, Copper Alloys, and Nickel, and are manufactured to meet global standards such as ASME B16.5, B16.47, EN 1092-1, DIN, and ISO 7005.

What are Threaded Flanges?

Threaded Flanges are flanges with internal threads (female) that match the external threads (male) of a pipe, allowing for connection without welding. This design is ideal for situations where heat or flame should be avoided, or when quick disassembly is required.

They are typically used in low-pressure systems and smaller pipe sizes, especially where toxic, flammable, or explosive media are involved.

Frequently Asked Questions

Explore our FAQs for insights on materials, customization, and delivery.
When should you use a threaded flange over a welded flange?
Use threaded flanges in applications where welding isn’t practical—such as systems carrying flammable gases, or in temporary lines where quick removal is necessary.
Can threaded flanges handle high-pressure environments?
They are generally limited to low and moderate pressure systems (Class 150–600). For higher pressures, weld neck or socket weld flanges are recommended.
Are threaded flanges reusable?
Yes. Threaded flanges can be uninstalled and reused, provided the threads remain undamaged.
Do you supply both BSP and NPT threaded flanges?
Yes. We offer flanges with BSP, BSPT, and NPT threading as per project or regional requirements.
