Hastelloy Round Bar

Stellanox Steel is a trusted manufacturer and global supplier of high-quality Hastelloy Round Bars used in chemical processing, aerospace, marine, and power generation industries. These bars are engineered from top-performance nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloys like C276, C22, B2, and G30 to deliver exceptional corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and reliability in aggressive environments.

Available in a wide range of sizes, finishes, and heat-treated conditions, our Hastelloy round bars meet critical service demands with superior durability.

What are Hastelloy Round Bars?

Hastelloy Round Bars are solid cylindrical rods forged or rolled from corrosion-resistant Hastelloy alloys. Designed to perform in acidic, chloride-rich, and oxidizing environments, these bars offer excellent machinability, high temperature stability, and dimensional accuracy.

They are commonly used in fabricating shafts, fasteners, valve components, heat exchanger bolts, chemical stirrers, pump shafts, and marine hardware — all of which require corrosion resistance + strength.

Frequently Asked Questions

Explore our FAQs for insights on materials, customization, and delivery.
What’s the difference between Hastelloy round bar and rod?
“Round bar” and “rod” are often used interchangeably. However, “bar” is typically a broader commercial term, while “rod” implies tight tolerance and precision finish.
Can Hastelloy bars be heat-treated for higher strength?
Hastelloy is typically solution annealed. While it’s not strengthened by heat treatment like carbon steels, cold working can enhance strength and hardness.
Are these bars suitable for machining?
Yes. Hastelloy C276 and C22 offer good machinability using carbide tools and coolant systems.
What grades are best for acid-resistant applications?
Hastelloy C276 and B2 are best suited for hydrochloric, sulfuric, and other aggressive acid environments.
