Nickel Flange

Stellanox Steel manufactures and supplies high-performance Nickel Flanges designed for corrosive, high-temperature, and high-pressure environments. Engineered from premium grades such as Nickel 200 (UNS N02200) and Nickel 201 (UNS N02201), our nickel flanges offer exceptional chemical resistance, thermal stability, and dimensional accuracy—making them ideal for chemical plants, marine systems, power plants, aerospace, and nuclear applications.

Available in all standard and custom configurations—weld neck, socket weld, slip-on, blind, threaded, lap joint, and orifice—our flanges are compliant with ASME, ASTM B564, DIN, EN, and ISO specifications.

What are Nickel Flanges?

Nickel Flanges are circular connectors used to join piping, valves, pumps, and other equipment within piping systems. They are essential in industries where resistance to corrosion, long service life, and secure fluid/gas sealing are required. Nickel flanges provide excellent compatibility with aggressive chemicals, alkalis, and chloride-rich environments, while also offering superior mechanical strength and conductivity.

Both Nickel 200 (standard) and Nickel 201 (low-carbon) are widely used depending on the temperature and welding requirements of the system.

Frequently Asked Questions

Explore our FAQs for insights on materials, customization, and delivery.
What’s the difference between a Nickel 200 and 201 flange?
Nickel 201 contains lower carbon, making it better suited for high-temperature service and welding applications compared to Nickel 200.
Are nickel flanges compatible with stainless steel pipe?
Yes, but galvanic corrosion can occur; use insulating gaskets or sleeves if dissimilar metals are connected.
Can nickel flanges handle high pressure?
Absolutely. We supply nickel flanges up to Class 2500, suitable for high-pressure industrial systems.
Are these flanges suitable for seawater or chlorine environments?
Yes. Nickel is highly resistant to chlorides and marine corrosion, making it ideal for such applications.
