Slip-On Flanges

Stellanox Steel is a leading manufacturer and global supplier of precision-engineered Slip-On Flanges designed for low to moderate pressure piping systems. Fabricated using high-quality Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy, Copper Alloys, and Titanium, our slip-on flanges are preferred for their ease of installation, cost-effectiveness, and versatile application across oil & gas, power generation, chemical, marine, HVAC, and water treatment sectors.

Available in both raised face (RF) and flat face (FF) options, all our slip-on flanges meet global quality standards like ASME B16.5, B16.47, DIN, EN, and ISO.

What are Slip-On Flanges?

Slip-On Flanges (SO Flanges) are ring-shaped flanges that slide over the pipe and are welded from both inside and outside to provide strong, leak-resistant connections. These flanges are ideal for low-pressure systems, non-critical pipelines, and systems where frequent disassembly is not required.

Due to their low initial cost, minimal weld preparation, and simple alignment, slip-on flanges are commonly used in water lines, cooling systems, fire protection lines, and compressed air networks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Explore our FAQs for insights on materials, customization, and delivery.
When should slip-on flanges be used instead of weld neck flanges?
Slip-on flanges are ideal for systems with lower pressure, where stress, bending, and vibration are minimal. Weld neck flanges are preferred in high-stress environments.
Are slip-on flanges pressure tested?
Yes. All our flanges undergo hydrotesting and NDT testing where applicable to ensure strength and sealing capability.
Can slip-on flanges be used in steam systems?
Yes, if operating pressure and temperature fall within the flange’s rated capacity. Always consult pressure class ratings for steam use.
Do you supply slip-on flanges with gaskets and bolts?
Yes. We offer complete flange assembly kits including gaskets, nuts, bolts, and washers upon request.
